How BRidge works

BRidge is a production commodity exchange built for the scrap industry. It connects yards directly to institutional buyers, prices material transparently, and settles real tons against real Bills of Lading — with futures hedging built in.

7,900+ live vendor quotes· 254 materials· refreshed every 15 minutes· ferrous & nonferrous
The flow

List, price, settle

1

List your inventory

Push material in the way that fits you — a CSV export, our API, or a direct tap into your yard-management system through BRidge-Connect. No manual re-entry and no double bookkeeping; your existing inventory and vendor quotes flow straight into the order book.

2

Transparent price formation

Every listing is priced on a published, auditable blend — 70% live vendor quotes, 20% recent contract VWAP, 10% reference. No black box: material is priced fairly out of the gate, and buyers and sellers meet on one order book.

3

Execute & settle

Contracts and Bills of Lading lock at execution — no post-trade renegotiation cycle. Every step is recorded to a defensible audit trail and exportable for compliance. Lock price forward with futures hedging when you want to.

Three ways to use BRidge

Trade, data, and partner channel

Three operating layers that work independently or together.

Trade — the exchange$0 base · 15 bps/side · $1 per BOL

Apply as a buyer, seller, broker, or trader. List inventory or source it, with no monthly minimums. Yards reach mill and trading-house buyers directly — without broker spread — and buyers get aggregated quotes in one order book with price and BOL locked at execution.

Data — institutional tierAnnual subscription

Granular, yard-level vendor-quote and contract data under entitlement-based access — pseudonymized but detailed, structured for procurement analytics, hedging desks, and benchmark diligence. It captures live price formation that forward curves don't show: transaction-adjacent quotes, not derivative settlements. Available in tiered coverage; talk to us for access.

Partner — channel revenue sharevia Stripe Connect

Multi-site operators and networks bring downstream flow onto BRidge and share revenue on what they introduce, disbursed through Stripe Connect. Terms start at 30% of trade fees and 50% of data revenue on introduced flow, and are negotiable for anchor partners. It turns relationships you already manage into a margin line.
